Meet Our Team

Dr. Teresa Jacobson |

BSc, DVM, Resident AVDC

Teresa has a Bachelor of Science, Major in Biology Co-op from the University of Victoria in 1990; a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of SK, in 1995.

Dr. Jacobson is actively involved with Alley Cat Alliance a charitable organization for animals down on their luck. She opened Jacobson Veterinary Services, a mixed animal practice, in 1999. She shares her busy life with her husband, Allen, and her fur-children (cats: Peanut and Bonnie; horses: Red and Sprocket and chickens and goldfish). She enjoys skiing, riding, gardening, birding, travel and photography.

  • Associate and partner in Okanagan-­‐based, small animal veterinary practice for 22 years
  • Extensive experience in ultrasound (15 years) and endoscopy (16 Years)
  • ABVP Board certified (Canine and Feline) in 2004, recertified in 2013
  • Graduate, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan (1992)
